The King of Kings was humble enough to ride on a donkey!

Big time celebs, business icons, and Presidents travel by limos and private jets. The vehicle you choose tells us how important you are and that you mean business. So what are we to make of Jesus? Arriving on a donkey is a strange choice for the King of Kings. But the choice of a donkey showed that Jesus came to bring peace. It’s also a reminder that Jesus is the ultimate VIP, but he chose to humble himself to show us how much he loves us.

MEMORY VERSE:
“Jesus found a young donkey and sat on it, as it is written: ‘Do not be afraid, Daughter Zion; see, your king is coming, seated on a donkey’s colt.’” John 12:14-15
